Happy Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Lately it’s been all over the internet that Anthropologie was launching a bridal site, BHLDN, on Valentine’s Day. Though they’ve been doling out sneak peaks to blogs they deemed worthy, today the shop finally went live and I got to see for myself what all the fuss is about. While I think I would have checked out the site anyway, the fact that I’m getting married this summer made me especially interested to see what they had to offer. Here are some of my favorite items.

These crocheted gloves are the only thing in the whole site that I could actually see myself buying and wearing. I’ve wanted to find some vintage ones just like them, but I suspect that this might be hard because my hands are too big for most vintage gloves. So these would be a really good solution.

This is my favorite dress from their selection, which I found sort of underwhelming. I love this one, though.

The hair adornments section has tons of inspiration for lovely veils and handbands that you could easily make yourself. This one included. The little velvet bows on this one are super cute.

I’m wondering if I could replicate this pretty little bolero myself. It doesn’t look too difficult, right?

The one thing I was really hoping I might purchase from the site are shoes, but I didn’t see any that I wanted to get married in. I have a feeling that they’ll be adding more of everything as time goes on, so maybe I’ll find some there yet. What do you think of the site? Love it, or not your cup of tea?

  1. I really like the new site, but I wasn’t as pleased with the items as I was hoping I’d be. The wedding gowns aren’t my favorite overall, but I really loved two of their styles. However, the dresses and accessories were what hooked me. I liked how they paired everything together, and (like you) I got excited about the fact that I can make a good portion of their items on my own. Or, try to.
