Twin Peaks Etsy Inspiration
I can’t tell you how much I love this Twin Peaks post on the Etsy blog. If you’re a Twin Peaks fan at all, go look at it, right now! The post is from Jen McCabe of the blog Honey Kennedy, which just happens to be holding a great giveaway for a gift certificate to the online shop Le Train Bleu. So much goodness all from one blog!

polka dot dress
If you’re a size small or extra-small you should snap up this adorable polka dot dress from Etsy seller JulyS.

I recently gave my blog a little facelift with a new banner and graphics. If you’re viewing the site in a reader, come check it out! (Keep in mind that I did it myself, so don’t get your hopes too high.) Although I added a link to my new tumblr blog, I think I forgot to actually mention it in a post. So I am now. So far I only have one follower, and it is my husband. Because I asked him to follow me so somebody would be, hah.

hair bow tutorial
This hair bow from A Beautiful Mess is super cute! The post has instructions for how to do it yourself.

DIY Geometric Fabric
What a great use of fabric makers, to make your own geometric-print fabric. Alicia of Dismount Creative made hers into a pouch, but you could do anything with it. A canvas tote bag or a pillow would be fun, wouldn’t it?

Since the weather’s been cooling down knitting projects are on my mind more and more. After I saw a cute pair online, I started knitting these armwarmers with a ball of vintage self-striping yarn in my stash. I’m almost done with one, but I’m not sure if I’ll have enough yarn for the second one! I think I need to find/borrow a digital kitchen scale so I can weigh the ball of remaining yarn and compare it to the weight of the completed armwarmer.

  1. I must be the only person on the planet who hasn’t seen Twin Peaks. All my friends are crazy about it…this post may have convinced me to stream it on Netflix Asap!!!

  2. Rebekka, it’s really weird and different than anything else on tv, but also really good. I’m sure one of your Twin Peaks-loving friends would be happy to re-watch it with you, if you want company. Do it! I’m happy to play any little part in helping to convince you 🙂

    1. Genevieve, I am thrilled that you enjoyed the pattern! Your headband and cowl look really great, and I hope you have many more cables in your future 🙂
