Sunday Street Style

Sunday Street Style

This week I had a couple of posts and projects I was working on, but when I woke up on Friday morning my computer had turned itself off, and declined to turn back on. I’ve spent the last two days trying to figure out the problem and going to and from electronics stores. I went to Fry’s Electronics three times, totally disassembled and reassembled my computer twice, and replaced the power supply twice. Couldn’t have done any of it without my husband’s help, but I’m certainly learning my way around the inside of a computer. Last night we finally got it up and running again. Anyway, please forgive the break in posts, but now we should be back to your regularly scheduled programming. Ugh, computers!

  1. Hey! I am visiting Seattle (& hopefully Portland) in April… Since half the fun of travel is anticipation I have been planning outfits in a serious way, ha. Do you have other local-to-you fash blogs to recommend? I’d love that.

    1. Iris, I wish I was organized enough to plan that far ahead! Hmm, the first ones that come to mind are Urban Weeds and It’s my darlin’, but I’ve linked to those before. Nubby Twiglet is part fashion, part graphic design/other. Honey Kennedy is great, and often has local Portland shopping and events. Frolic! has a bit of fashion, and you might like Clever Nettle. I wish I knew more local fashion blogs!

Oh, for general goings-on, check out the local alt-weeklies, the Portland Mercury, and in Seattle, The Stranger. I can give you tons more recommendations for visiting Portland, if you want them–maybe I should do a blog post about it one of these days 🙂

      Hope that helps!
