It’s finally the end of the Spring 2019 One Room Challenge, and I’m so excited to share the reveal of my room! As I’ve mentioned a couple of times, since my due date was April 10, we worked ahead to get this nursery finished in advance, so it has been done for a while. Waiting until now to show it all off has been hard, though not as hard as waiting for Juniper to arrive. But I love how it all came together, and the wait is finally over!

For the Fall 2020 One Room Challenge, I’m sharing the gut renovation of the most-used bathroom in my house.
This is Juniper, who made her appearance on April 18, 2019. Yes, she was born with a lot of hair!
Since last week, the biggest change is the addition of the accessories, and this dresser. If you’re thinking about getting this dresser, here are some tips. It comes fully assembled in a giant box, which can be good or bad, depending on your situation. Since it wasn’t hard to get into our house and into the nursery, it was good, because it meant one less thing to put together. But it also means that shipping can be expensive, so I was glad to find that Target ships it for free. It does take weeks to arrive, though, and mine arrived with one corner slightly dinged up. Not badly enough to deal with returning it, though.
We happened to find this gorgeous vintage un-used baby book in a thrift store for $3. We’ve been filling it out since Juniper was born.
See that white table that the lamp is on? Eventually I’d like to replace that with a low bookshelf/toy cubby unit, but I needed a table for now. So that’s actually an Ikea plant stand from the as-is section that I had laying around. It was too tall, though, so I chopped about 5 inches off of each leg with my jigsaw.

Thank you, Hannah! If you mean the big plant, it’s a schefflera, or umbrella plant/tree. There is also a Boston fern, a dwarf umbrella plant, a string of pearls, a pilea, and one more I’m blanking on the name of right now. Hope that helps!
I absolutely love this!!! so beautiful and sweet! Just last night I was talking to my husband how much I would love a hanging chair in the nursery but we were wondering if it would be practical? Do you feel comfortable nursing on it? thank you!!
Thanks so much, Vanessa! So I have to admit that the hanging chair isn’t a very practical nursing spot. I did most of the nursing sitting in our bed, while the crib was in our bedroom. I realized that the hanging chair wouldn’t be a great spot to nurse, mainly because you’d need one arm to steady it in order to sit down, and that might not be practical while holding a baby. Maybe I would have gotten used to it, but for other reasons, I only nursed in it once or twice.
