Although this outfit is all gray and black, I actually added a pop of color in the form of a teal cowl after I took these photos. I also put on my new safety pin earrings. And then I proceeded to leave my apartment, walk 20 minutes to the library, and realize I’d left my wallet, with my library card in it, at home. I decided it was too cold to make the walk all over again, so no new books for me. Speaking of which, I need book recommendations. The last two things I read are
Emma and The Great Gatsby, and right before I left for Arizona I started reading Super Sad True Love Story, but stopped and returned it after just a few pages because it would have been overdue by the time I got back. So I’d take recommendations for either modern or classic literature.
I’m showing a back view because I’m actually wearing this sweater backwards. The covered buttons are so nice that sometimes I like to show them off in the front. Would you have noticed that it’s backwards if I didn’t tell you? I doubt anyone would ever guess it.

Skirt: Made by me
Boots: Pour la Victoire, Amazon

Lovely combination. I think this is the best way, I’ve seen a tutu like skirt styled so far.
