Though I don’t wear much sparkle on a regular basis, I think that if there’s one day you’re allowed to go for the bling, it’s your wedding day. I’m getting married in July, and I’ve been trying to figure out how to do my hair and what to wear on my head. This morning I saw this photo from BHLDN, and I think it helped push me toward some kind of rhinestone headband:
I’ve got a file of wedding inspiration photos on my computer, and this is one that I think might be from Etsy, though I have no idea which seller. (Though the model is gorgeous, every time I see her I want to say, “Close your mouth, honey.”)
I found a couple of Etsy shops, Fine & Fleurie and Sara Laurence, with pretty bridal headwear. Though being the DIYer that I am, I’m on the lookout for inexpensive vintage rhinestone necklaces or brooches I could convert into a headband.
Where do you stand on wedding bling? Yea or nay?
How serendipitous that I came across this post! I’ve been helping my future sister-in-law to decide whether to go for head wear or no head wear. She’s firm about not wanting a veil or a tiara but an elegant crystal headband might be just the ticket.
Lucinda, I hope your future sister-in-law likes the idea! How nice of you to help her figure this stuff out 🙂
That’s not etsy–it’s jenny packham!Â
You’re right, thanks! I’ll correct it.
