Mine are prettier than the ones pictured because they’re not lumpy on top, but I just made a bunch of these dark chocolate peanut butter cups. I made them partly because I wanted to use these little Halloween baking cups I had, and partly because chocolate and peanut butter is one of the best flavor combinations ever discovered. If you come trick-or-treating at my door I will share, though I live in an apartment building so no one will actually come, and I know you’re not supposed to give out homemade treats anyway.

Speaking of Halloween, it’s not too late to whip up one of these crocheted skull necklaces. Personally I think it would be appropriate to wear one year-round.

If my hair was long enough, this pretty fishtail braid looks like something I’d like to try. Though truthfully I’ve never done even a regular French braid, so I imagine I’d have to practice on a friend first.

Does it make me a crazy cat lady if I want to make a paint-by-numbers portrait of my cat? Actually two, one of each cat. Probably, but I’m okay with that.
