It’s been awhile since I’ve shared DIY ideas. Here are a few I’ve pinned lately on my Fashion DIY inspiration board. I have a few projects in various stages of completion, so I’ll post some of those soon, too.
1. Add sequin trim to the lapels of a blazer.
2. Outline the edges of a white shirt with a fabric marker or paint.

3. Dye (or bleach) a gradient on a pair of jeans.
4. Combine vintage lace slips to make a one-of-a-kind maxi dress, like this gorgeous one from this shop.
Have you seen any inspiration for DIY projects lately?
OMG that dress!!!! I’m going to actually drag my a** of the couch and go to the thrift to find stuff for this!!
We’ve started the tradition of going to a pop up “white picnic” (where you dress in white, bring your own food, table, white linens, and anything else white you can conjure up) each summer and this would be perfect…no one else would have anything like it!!!
Jennie M, that sounds like an awesome tradition–I want to come! A version of this dress sounds perfect for that.
Well if you ever find yourself in Columbus, OH and this is happening…you’ll have a place to stay!!! It truly is awesome!
