When I was a kid I made friendship bracelets, but I never managed to finish any with complicated designs. They seemed to take forever to make. A couple of years ago I made a few, and to my surprise, they didn’t actually take that long. All you’d need to make versions of the ones above would be a few hours (plus some mindless television for entertainment), some skeins of embroidery thread, and your choice of embellishments. Chain, studs, rhinestones, and beads are all fair game. Inspired by the examples above, I’m thinking of knotting some thread up myself pretty soon.
