Once in a while I discover something that I wish I’d known a long time ago. In this case it’s that Banana Republic and Gap sell tall sizes of some of their styles online. I’m on the taller side, with a long torso, so dresses with a defined waist often don’t fit me quite right, since the waist falls a couple of inches higher than my actual waist. It’s not a huge deal, but it does make cute dresses harder to find. I picked this one up online a few months ago, and it quickly became one of my go-to pieces. Maybe everybody else knows this already, but heads up to my tall ladies! (If you’re short, don’t worry, they also have petite sizes.) Pictures of this dress also create a weird optical illusion on my computer screen, where it looks like the stripes are flashing when I scroll down the page. Or maybe that’s just me again….
