Hey friends, I made it to Australia! I’m in hot-as-hell Perth right now, but before I left rainy Portland, I put together some projects to post while I’m traveling. This one is so quick that it barely qualifies as a tutorial, but I thought I’d share how easy it is to create your own antler necklace.
Materials:
Cord (I used leather, but you could also use faux leather or waxed cotton)
Drilled antler tip (I bought mine from a shop in Austin, Texas, but try Etsy if you can’t find any locally.)
Scissors
Methods:
1.Cut a piece of cord long enough to fit over your head when knotted, plus a little extra. I cut mine 37 inches.
2.Thread the cord through the hole in your antler tip and tie one knot at the end of the doubled cords, and another right above the antler. Trim the ends of the cord so that they’re even.
That’s it! Really easy, but there’s no reason you couldn’t make it a bit more complicated by using a chain instead of a cord.
