Hello! It’s been a little while, because honestly, life with a newborn is FULL. Even though Juniper is pretty good at sleeping at night, and generally easy to please, my time is very limited because what keeps her happy these days is constant breastfeeding. When my very demanding boss gives me a break, I use it for fun stuff like showering or eating. But I’m not complaining, because while I can only compare her to descriptions of other babies from friends and family, it seems like she’s a relatively mellow baby. And I know that this phase won’t last long.
Anyway, while on feeding duty I’ve been using my phone to scope out fun projects that I wanted to share. I’m hoping that soon I’ll be able to take some on myself, but until then, enjoy these!
Can’t believe this glamorous channel-tufted headboard is a DIY.
I’ve been wanting to make some oven-bake clay earrings for a while now, and these faux-granite earrings are a fun take on the look.
Dying to make a batch of these creamy mango lime margaritas soon. Perfect drink for a warm summer night, right?
PSA: North of West, which sells cool, ethically-made (and locally-made, if you’re in Portland or LA) clothing and accessories, is having a 25%-off sale this weekend. Their baby stuff is super cute and gender-neutral, and they’re actually the only place that I’ve bought new baby clothes from (during their last sale, though). I’m super tempted by their women’s clothes, too.
Whoa, these faux-agate resin cheeseboards are really cool! Now I’m wondering what else you could use this technique for.
