This is one of the faux fur collar prototypes I made for my tutorial, but when I made it I didn’t add any ribbon or fastener, so whenever I wore it I had to use a pin or brooch to affix it around my neck. I decided to remedy that the other day by adding pom pom ties. This is just scrap yarn from my stash knit into two i-cords with pom poms on the ends. If you’re looking for guidance on how to make pom poms, you could try Amy Sedaris’s video, though she calls them “pompons.”

I think it turned out super cute, if I do say so myself. It also helped my neck stay nice and cozy.
