Every city has its own style milieu, and when I putting my picks together I realized that the women in the two bottom photos in this collage are wearing alternate versions of the same outfit. Fashionist is based on San Francisco, and The Sartorialist is based in New York City, and you could argue that the two photos do a good job representing the styles of their respective cities (and maybe even their sides of the country.) The East Coast is a little more polished and uptight, and the West Coast is a little more young and rough around the edges. I’m not arguing that either one is better–they both have their merits.
