Yesterday I decided to give one of my necklaces a makeover. Previously I painted this rhinestone necklace with neon nail polish, but I removed the paint with nail polish remover (it came right off!), and gave it a coat of mint.
If the color looks familiar, it’s the same one I used to paint these Cacharel-inspired bobby pins.
What do you think? Do you like the change?

Love this! So smart to just change out your colors!

Tammy, thanks! Yeah, it was so easy I wondered why I hadn’t done it earlier 🙂
LOVE IT!! I can’t believe I didn’t think of using nail polish remover , since I sincerely believe in using nail polish to change the colors of jewelry! And I think this version is sooo much better. I find neon to be childish and immature, but mint is subtle, sophisticated, elegant!
Gloria, thanks! I like this version better, too. It’s a bit more understated.
