A couple of weeks ago I posted about resources for free printable botanical/nature art. But not being content to use what was already available, I made up my own batch. By “made up,” I mean I resized and cleaned up vintage artwork from multiple sources, mainly this book and this book on botanicus.org. Turns out old images are very dirty and sometimes a bit distorted from scanning, so they benefit greatly from some Photoshop work.
You’re welcome to use the art for non-commercial purposes, if you’d like. Just click the images below, or the links, and save. Everything is sized to print out at 8 x 10 inches, which fits on a standard size 8.5 x 11 piece of paper, and then you can either trim the white edges (I did), or leave them as is. Add some washi tape, and you have practically instant art. The empty wall space in our office certainly got a lot more interesting with this gallery of botanical prints.
