Have you heard about Project ReStyle? According to the creators, Elsie Flannigan and Rachel Denbow, it’s “a just-for-fun creative group focused on ReStyling damaged, unwanted or unusable goods into fresh, beautiful pieces.” It’s not limited to clothing, and there are already examples of restyled furniture and home decor. To participate, just join the Flickr group and upload before-and-after photos of your restyled items. They’ve even got cute little buttons, one of which I just added to my sidebar.
