Recently I’ve been purging my closet of items I haven’t worn in a long time. It’s in preparation for our upcoming move, and I’m trying to be pretty ruthless. I threw this dress in the giveaway bag since I haven’t worn it all season, and then had second thoughts. Though the shape is rather maternity, I like the pattern and color. It might not look very promising on the hanger, but I think it could make a good skirt with a little bit of sewing.

Here’s my inspiration for the shape. What do you think? I’m already ripping out the seams, so there’s no going back. Wish me luck!
