Recently I mentioned that I was having trouble getting excited about picking out what to wear. A couple of people offered great advice about looking through catalogs and magazines for inspiration, and I’ve been doing that a bit. It seems to be working, so I also decided to revive my “Getting in the Mood” columns featuring lookbooks for the upcoming season. This one from Betina Lou is the first that caught my eye. Season after season, their designers always seem to be able to pick the perfect colors and patterns, and this time around is no exception.

Are you ready to go a bit nautical and break out the stripes and denim? With a palette of red, white, and navy, plus some pale pink and blue, I don’t think I’d even miss black. (Who am I kidding–yes I would, but they’ve got at least one LBD in the collection, so I’m covered.)
