I really like this H&M dress, but I wish it were about 8 inches longer so it actually grazed my ankles. I’ve been thinking about making a jersey maxi dress out of some printed jersey I bought at a San Francisco fabric shop last year, and with the addition of some length I think that this dress would make a great template.
These glasses are totally fake plastic ones with no lenses that I just stuck on for a joke. They actually look pretty good, though. If I didn’t find people who wear fake glasses totally annoying I’d be tempted to wear them around. As it is I’ll have to stick to my real ones.

If you’ve been paying close attention to my outfit shots you might notice something different in this photo. Gone is the red-and-white chair (just moved across the room), and it’s replaced with a sofa. We got rid of our couch when we moved and have been living without one for a couple of months. The one we custom-ordered was just delivered, though, and I love it. The cats do, too. At least one of them is sleeping on it at all times. The room finally feels complete, so I’m planning to post a living room tour soon.
