Wedding Projects Progress

While in New York City this weekend I made it to fewer than half the places I intended, but I did accomplish some of my most important errands. We looked at wedding rings at Catbird, but decided that the ones by St. Kilda were daintier than we wanted, so we didn’t go to their shop. We also went to the garment district so I could look for fabric and notions, and wow, I was blown away. I can’t believe how many shops there are selling pretty much anything you could want for sewing/crafting. I could have spent all day in Mood alone, nevermind the rest of the stores. As it was I only had about two hours, total, so I had to stay focused on my mission. After much debating, I ended up buying this lace from the “Fancy Lace” section at Mood:

Along with the tulle and ribbon I also bought, I think I have everything I need to tackle my dress project. Although now I’m dying to go back to the garment district just to stock up on DIY supplies. Maybe next time.
