Lately it’s hard not to notice that ’90s fashion has been undergoing a bit of a revival. This has been especially notable for me, given that my husband and roommates are creating a video game set in the ’90s. We do things like read Sassy and watch My So-Called Life for reference, and naturally the Riot Girl (or “Riot Grrrl,” if you prefer) movement has come up. The other day I saw a round-up of combat boots, and got to thinking about what a modern-day riot-girl would wear.  Here are some of the combat-boot-based ideas I came up with.
