Weekend Holiday Baking

Weekend Holiday Baking

Happy Friday! This weekend I’ve got baking on my mind.

Every holiday season when I was growing up, my mom would bake up a storm of delicious treats. Cookies, bars, candies, popcorn–if it was sweet and indulgent, she probably made it. She gave many of the baked goods away to friends and teachers (we liked to complain that we needed the cookies more than the teachers), but there were always plenty to go around. So it’s no wonder that when the holidays roll around I get the urge to bake. Here are some desserts on my list of treats to try.

Warning: If you’re not yet craving sweets, you will be by the time you’re done looking at this list.
