Leather, Sequins, and Bleach, Oh My: 4 DIY Ideas

1. This black leather fringe skirt could be replicated by sewing layers of leather fringe onto an existing leather (or even non-leather) skirt. You could fringe leather yourself, or buy pre-made trim. Loving the bracelets, too, which you could make with horizonatally-drilled skull beads (try your local bead store, Etsy, or Amazon for the supplies).

2. Take a bleach pen to a pair of leggings and draw geometric patterns.

3. Add sequin elbow patches to a sweater. All it takes is some sequin fabric (or trim), and a bit of sewing.

4. Use a utility knife to add decorative cutouts to a thrifted leather jacket.
