Shiny and New

Shiny and New

I’m trying out a new storefront. It’s more clean and uncluttered than Etsy, and I like that it’s my own little place. It feels kind of like moving from dormitories into an apartment, though I’m not leaving Etsy. I don’t have everything listed there yet, but I’m slowly adding items. Check it out here.

For a long time I’ve been wanting to add jewelry to my shop, and lately I’ve been experimenting with some jewelry designs. I just finished and listed these waxing and waning crescent moon earrings:

These tote bags technically aren’t new, but I don’t think I’ve ever shared them here. I’m trying out some double-sided designs.

“Sic  itur ad astra” is Latin, and it roughly translates to “thus you shall go to the stars.” Listing here.

  1. Sic itur ad Astra was my school motto (until they added some other Latin meaning “for all comers”. I can’t remember that bit but I can sing you the school song in both Latin and English, even a decade since I graduated!). Think this is a sign that I need that bag… Or is that the ultimate in geek??

    1. I think perhaps it’s a sign! I’m just impressed that you can sing in Latin. Did you have to learn Latin as a language in school, too?

  2. I’ve been using storenvy for my shop for the past 2.5 years and have been so happy with it! well, other than making listings and setting up diff shipping rates, which was time consuming but that’s the nature of online listings it seems. anyway, your shop looks fantastic!! I think your galaxy cat tote will always be my fav but i love your new double sided bags and the earrings are really cool too – way to go!

    1. Thanks Dus! Glad to know you’ve been happy with Storenvy. Yeah, setting up the listings does take a while–I wish there was a way I could just import them from Etsy! You reminded me that I need to set my shipping rates on there, though. Obviously I’m still getting the hang of it 😉
So glad you like my stuff!
