Last night we got a little sprinkling of snow, which, if you live anywhere that gets real winter, will seem like nothing. In Portland this is a big deal, since it snows (and sticks) maybe once a year. Last year I think the snow skipped us entirely. Anyway, I’m trying to say that there’s a reason I can’t take my hands out of my pockets: It’s freezing! I will be the first to admit that I’m a big baby when it comes to cold. Those people who wear shorts year-round are insane as far as I’m concerned. So while there was a brief moment this morning when I considered putting on a more fashion-forward outfit, the cold won out in the end.
