Over the last several months I’ve been trying some new beauty products, and I’ve found some stuff I really like. So I figured I’d spill the beans on what’s working for me lately.

beauty products

Benefit Feelin’ Dandy Lip and Cheek Kit – I mainly bought this because I wanted a sample of Posietint before I committed to a full size bottle, but I’d also heard good things about the High Beam highlighter. Turns out the whole kit is great, and when I run out I’ll definitely invest in full-size bottles of the Posietint and High Beam.
Urban Decay Naked2 – I had been hearing about the wonders of the Naked kit for years, so I finally decided to splurge and try this famed palette of neutrals. Now I understand why it’s so popular–all of the shades are incredibly versatile and flattering.
FingerPaints Gel Nail starter Kit – Never have I had a manicure that lasts longer than a few days without chipping, but the gel manicure I gave myself with this kit was incredibly durable. Now I can’t imagine doing my nails any other way.
Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Mandarin-Basilic – I tried this on in a department store in San Francisco, and then couldn’t forget the scent. Most perfumes give me a headache, but for some reason this one doesn’t. It’s super light and citrus-y, which seems perfect for spring. Also, isn’t the bottle super pretty?
