With the skies gray and the ground covered with snow, I decided I needed some color in my life via my outfit. I think the hat lends it kind of a Russian folkloric vibe. Plus it helps me stay warm in this sub-10-degree weather we’ve been having. Seriously, it’s not supposed to be that cold unless I’m on a mountain, skiing.

And yep, warmer weather would be a welcome change! Spring though, not summer. I’ve heard summer here is pretty bad because of how hot and sticky it is :-/ Though to tell the truth, living in San Francisco I missed a nice hot summer.
