Getting in the Mood for Fall: Sessùn

Today is the birthday of my blog, as well as my own birthday! I’m so glad I’m not in school any more, when classes often started on this date. Not to mention that with the excitement of the first day of school, no one in my new classes ever knew (or cared) that it was my birthday. I’m sure other people born in early September can relate. Now that I’m an adult, instead of lamenting the end of summer vacation, I get to enjoy nice birthday celebrations with family and friends. I’m still kind of sad that summer is coming to an end, but with today’s temperatures in the eighties it seems like we’re getting a reprieve here, at least for a little while.

Whether we like it or not, though, cooler temperatures will soon be on the way. Lately I’ve been coming across so many beautiful fall collections that I’ve decided to make “Getting in the Mood for Fall” a regular feature. You know, at least until it’s time for the next seasonal change. I think it really does help me look forward to the inevitable change in weather when I see all of the pretty looks that are available.

Today’s edition features the French brand Sessùn. The darker jewel-tones, with some brighter pops of color, seem like a lovely way to usher in autumn.

  2. Thanks, Liz! Haha, you’re right, those models do like kind of unhappy. Maybe they were upset that they were wearing sweaters in the middle of the summer.
